The most stunning castle in Italy, I declare ✋
I’m really struck by the restraint in this castle. The facade is finely detailed, yet the colors are soft and understated.
Inside, most walls are a muted grey, except for a few preserved wall paintings. Each doorway is unique in its simple, almost modest shape. Some spaces feel bright and minimal, while others are shadowed and serene.
I’m not sure if this balance comes from its original form or modern restoration, but there’s no doubt — the building clearly shows the elegance of restraint.
